Whole30 Book Giveaway

My husband and I did the Whole30 earlier this year. Thanks to my friend Harmony, some accountability I am. I was so proud of myself to make it to the Whole 2 weeks. I love me some wine. As much as I want to be healthy, take my coffee away, take my sugar take the whole darn pantry but leave the wine. I will even say take the chocolate, cheese and crackers. The reason; I have a teenager in my house, enough said. You moms get me. When my husband did the whole30 I thought he would give up like me as we were doing this as a team, HELLO!

Nope he decided to keep on the WHOLE path. He lost weight and looks better and feels better than he has in years. Thanks to his amazing wife for prepping all his meals! Yes I take credit for that. Why didn’t I eat the food I was making for my husband? I am a complex person. My husband since the Whole30 rarely eats cheese, desserts, wheat and alcohol. GASP! The latter he should get an award or something. Its really simple to follow if you have self discipline. He now eats what he wants and in moderation. He was gluten free to begin with so it was like he had an advantage. I enjoy meal planning , I just can’t deal with anyone saying I have to give up wine. I mean my new meal plan says I need to give up coffee but I can still have my wine every night. Do you see the struggle, its real!

When I was doing the Whole30 these were my staples….

I relied on Costco and Sprouts. I am sure there are other stores to get Whole30 compliant food. However this was my list and my go to for shopping.
